Membership Terms & Conditions
1. Membership Registration
By registering as a member, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your member ID and for all activity associated with your membership.
2. Eligibility
Membership is available to individuals 18 years of age or older. Members under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete the registration on their behalf.
3. Membership Fees and Payments
Membership fees are due at the time of registration or renewal. Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Membership benefits are only valid during the active membership period.
4. Court Access and Usage
Members may access courts during designated member hours subject to availability. Court reservations must be made according to club booking policies. Members must check in upon arrival.
5. Conduct and Facility Rules
Members are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner. The Club reserves the right to suspend or revoke membership for disruptive or unsafe behaviour.
6. Health and Safety
Members must be in adequate physical health to engage in sporting activities. You are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions or limitations that may affect participation.
7. Personal Property
The Club is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings brought to the facility.
8. Guest Policy
Members may bring guests according to club guest policies. Members are responsible for their guests' conduct and any applicable guest fees.
9. Communication
By registering, you consent to receive emails and notifications related to your membership, bookings, and club announcements. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
10. Privacy
Personal information collected during registration is used solely for membership administration, communication, and safety. Information will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
11. Amendments
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued membership after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
1. Activity Risk Disclosure
Participants acknowledge and understand that badminton and other racquet sports involve certain inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle strains, sprains, joint injuries from rapid movements, and accidental contact with other players or equipment. The Club has taken reasonable safety measures; however, participants must fully recognize these risks and assume corresponding responsibility.
2. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability
Participation in sporting activities involves physical exertion and carries the risk of injury. You knowingly and freely assume all such risk. You hereby release, waive, and discharge any and all claims against the Club, its owners, directors, officers, employees, coaches, and representatives for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation, to the extent permitted by law.
3. Medical Authorization
In the event of an injury or emergency, I authorize the Club staff to provide or seek necessary medical treatment. I understand that I am responsible for all medical costs incurred as a result of participation.
4. Facility Usage
All participants must abide by the facility's usage rules and safety regulations. If any hazard or abnormality is found, staff should be notified immediately. Participants should inspect the playing area before use and exercise due care at all times.
5. Training Disclaimer
Participants in training programs should follow coaching instructions and train within their own capabilities. Guardians of minor participants should carefully read this waiver and bear corresponding supervisory responsibilities. The Club shall not be liable for injury caused by failure to follow instructions or training beyond one's abilities, to the extent permitted by law.
6. Image and Video Release
I grant permission for the Club to use photos or videos taken during activities for promotional purposes, including social media, websites, and printed materials.
7. Parental Authorization of Child Dismissal (For Participants Under 18)
I give permission for my child to be dismissed at the conclusion of the scheduled session. I understand that the Club is not responsible for supervision after the session ends. It is my responsibility to ensure timely pickup.
